Waterproofing of road surfaces
In the construction of road surfaces, bitumen roll materials, bitumen-polymeric sealants and mastics, polymeric membranes are used. Their main difference from waterproofing roofing materials and materials for waterproofing foundations is a higher requirement for the quality of the material, and a difference in the type of sprinkling.
Rolling bituminous materials for waterproofing roads:
Type – 1 (SBS modified, cold laying) are bituminous materials with the addition of SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modifier, these materials when laying in road clothes require an additional concrete protective layer or are used for laying cold asphalt mix. Bituminous polymer polymeric Albizol (BP) – produced at the Kostroma waterproofing materials plant, is an improved and more inexpensive modification of the bituminous polymer sealant Technonikol (higher adhesion, higher softening point, more UV stabilizers).
