Waterproofing of expansion joints
Bitumen-polymeric sealants of the following type are used to seal expansion joints, concrete joints of highways and airfields, as well as to remove cracks in road and airfield coatings: Bituminous polymer polymeric “Albizol” and Bitumen polymer polymeric Teknonikol No. 42.
The main difference between these sealants is the high adhesion properties, as well as resistance to high loads.
When sealing cracks on road and airfield surfaces, the use of ICBM mastics (bitumen-rubber mastic), mastic is also used when sealing expansion joints on the roadway and on bridge structures.
ICBM mastic hot application. Its main difference from other mastics is the addition of fine fractions of rubber and polymers to petroleum bitumen, high elasticity, the ability to apply these mastics in the winter season, as well as high adhesion and resistance to mechanical stress.

Bitumen-polymer sealant Technonikol No. 42 is a one-component material consisting of oil bitumen, modified with rubber and technological additives. Available in three versions, depending on climatic zones: BP-G25, BP-G35, BP-G50. A sealant is used in road construction to seal expansion joints in highways, runways of aerodromes and highways.

Bituminous polymer polymeric Albizol (BP) – produced at the Kostroma waterproofing materials plant, is an improved and more inexpensive modification of the bituminous polymer sealant Technonikol (higher adhesion, higher softening point, more UV stabilizers). It is used to seal expansion joints, to rehabilitate temperature and strength cracks in cement concrete, asphalt and concrete and polymer-concrete coatings of roads, bridges, aerodromes (there is an experience of Albizol application both at civil airfields and military ones)

It is intended for the device of waterproofing and anticorrosion protection of underground pipelines, and also for sealing of cracks and seams on flat roofs.
