Description
Gabions with a reinforcing panel are used for reinforcing slopes, when it is necessary not only to keep the slope from slipping, but also to fix them from the inside. Also, to secure the slope from the inside, you can use anti-erosion geomats and geonets. The optimal solution for strengthening the slope from the inside (protection against landslides, erosion and weathering) – anti-erosion geocomposites.
Modifications of gabions can differ not only in size, but also in the diameter of the grid (determines the expected loads) from which the gabion is executed, the size of the cell (the cell size corresponds to the fractionality of the material filled with gabion). The presence of PVC – spraying (determines the resistance to acidic media), the number of diaphragms of gabions (determines the size of the box gabion). On this, the differences between box-type gabions end.
The diameter of the grid can be provided in three versions: 2.4, 2.7, 3.0, 3.4, 3.7 mm (GOST R52132-03). All gabions offered by our company are made strictly from galvanized mesh (without galvanizing we do not even make an order, because such a design is extremely unreliable). The minimum size of the gabion is 2х2х1х0.5 m, the maximum size is 6х2х2х1 m (it is possible to make other types of sizes for larger volumes, all possible standard sizes of mattress-matt-type gabion are given in the table below.
