Description
Drainage perforated PVC pipe in a filter made of coconut fiber can be safely attributed to materials of “premium” class, tk. PVC, unlike conventional plastic (HDPE), from which drainage pipes are usually made, is more plastic, has more durability (50+ years in PVC against 20+ years for HDPE), more cycles of frost resistance, and PVC is more resistant negative temperatures.
A filter made of coconut fiber is less resistant to silting than a classic thermo-bonded geotextile, and a thickness of more than 10 mm of the filter effectively protects the pipe from mechanical damage (when filling with rubble, as well as during operation).
The stiffness of the perforated pipe (SN4) allows using it in the installation of drainage systems with a depth of up to 4 meters.
