Description
Bentonite geomat (bentonite) is a three-layered fabric, in which the upper layer is a high-strength woven geotextile, the lower one is a non-woven polypropylene geotextile with a surface density of at least 250 g / m2, and granulate of bentonite clay between nonwoven webs.
Used for the construction of a waterproofing layer with horizontal waterproofing (including highly loaded stylobates) and anti-filtration screens. The main feature of the bentomat is that, unlike other waterproofing used on similar projects, it does not require preliminary preparation of the substrate, withstands significant loads, self-repairs with minor mechanical damages, and its laying is possible at extremely low temperatures (up to -50 degrees).
