Description
Bentonite geomat (bentomat) ASL is a four-layered fabric, in which the first layer (upper) is a non-woven needle-punched fabric, density of at least 250 g / m2 (by order, it is possible to increase the density up to 600 g / m2), the second layer – granules of bentonite, the third layer – woven polypropylene high-strength geotextile, the lowest layer – LDPE membrane thickness from 0.2 to 0. 6 mm.
Bentonite geomat with geomembrane LDPE is used in cases when environmental protection is subject to increased requirements, as well as in the case of working with highly toxic materials.
Used for the construction of a waterproofing layer with horizontal waterproofing (including highly loaded stylobates) and anti-filtration screens. The main feature of the bentomat is that, unlike other waterproofing used on similar projects, it does not require preliminary preparation of the substrate, withstands significant loads, self-repairs with minor mechanical damages, and its laying is possible at extremely low temperatures (up to -50 degrees).
