Description
The anti-erosion polypropylene geomat is an inexpensive solution for strengthening steep slopes, protecting against hydroerrosion, weathering, strengthening of slopes of iron and roads. The anti-erosion geomat is widely used in landscape design for the construction of complex landscape figures, and is also often used to strengthen the lines of river banks, waterways, reservoirs and reservoirs.
It is important to note that despite the claims of many manufacturers of polypropylene and polyethylene geomatics, such material is subject to rapid destruction under the influence of ultraviolet and chemically active media. The term of the anti-erosion geomate made of polypropylene and polyethylene is no more than 3 and 1 year, respectively. If the estimated lifetime of the anti-erosion geomat exceeds 3 years, we recommend that you consider the polyamide geomat produced by Bonar (Holland).
The anti-erosion geomat can be performed as a geocomposite with geotextiles attached thermally on one or both sides, as well as in various thicknesses (from 12 to 20 mm). The thickness depends on the usage cake, in particular on the size of the fractions of the materials used.
